EdgeWalk Ticketing Policies and Guest Information

Can we participate in a walk as a larger group if we all live in the same house?
Yes! Please contact the EdgeWalk front desk by phone 416-601-3833 or by email edgewalkinfo@cntower.ca and we will be happy to assist you with your booking.

What steps are you taking to ensure guests and staff are safe?
All staff will be required to wear personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, face shields) and will follow rigorous cleaning protocols regularly throughout the day. All guests will be required to wear a mask or face covering, over the nose and mouth, throughout their visit. Sanitizing stations will be made available at the EdgeWalk front desk. Both staff and guests will be required to use the station prior to the experience. Plexi-glass screens have been installed at the front desk in order to limit contact between guests and staff. All guest walk suits, and other accessories will be fully laundered/disinfected after each use.

Can I purchase my EdgeWalk experience onsite?
We strongly recommend guests make their reservations in advance online, however onsite bookings may be possible, depending on availability. Guests may make onsite payments using a debit or credit card. We are now a cashless facility.

Can I still walk in to book a walk?
We will still be taking onsite bookings; however, we recommend checking our website or calling to find out what spots we have available.

Is my temperature going to be taken?
As part of its response to COVID-19, the CN Tower will be using thermal scanners at the entrance to detect if a guest has an elevated body temperature (defined as 38 degrees Celsius or higher). For everyone’s safety, any guest with an elevated body temperature will not be allowed admission to the CN Tower. No record will be created or retained by the CN Tower about a guest’s body temperature. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a CN Tower employee or contact info@clc.ca

If I book in advance and then get a fever or feel ill, will I get a refund or rebooking?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are feeling unwell, either by email or telephone. We will work with you to amend your booking as a result of this.

May I arrive early for my walk?
In order to practice physical distancing measures, please do not arrive for your EdgeWalk reservation more than 45 minutes in advance. Upon arrival at the entrance plaza, please bypass all ticketing lines and proceed directly to the Main Entrance. A team member will direct you through a brief security and health screening. Please allow enough time to gain access to the building, check in with our front desk staff and complete a waiver. In order to expedite entry, please consider travelling light and avoid bringing any unnecessary items or bags.

Do I need to confirm that I am well enough to attend on the day of the walk?
All guests and employees will be required to wear a mask or face covering, over the nose and mouth, throughout their visit. If you do not have a mask, they are available for purchase onsite at the Tower.

What personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to me?
Masks or face coverings are required in order to gain access to the Tower. As part of your EdgeWalk experience, a complimentary face covering will be provided and is yours to keep following your walk. After checking in for your walk, we will ask all guests to switch from their personal mask or face covering to the complimentary EdgeWalk face covering. This is required for safety reasons, as personal items are not permitted on the walk. Personal lockers will be sanitized prior to your arrival and are provided to store personal belongings. In addition, each guest will be given a pair of gloves to wear during their experience, as guests will be required to hold on to certain pieces of equipment during their walk. As this PPE is mandatory in order to participate, we appreciate each guest’s cooperation in wearing these items during the duration of your walk. EdgeWalk staff will also provide specific direction in order to maintain safe physical distances. We kindly ask that you adhere to their instructions at all times. All guests will be required to wear the face mask provided during the EdgeWalk. Note: your EdgeWalk guide will permit you to lower your mask when a safe physical distance is possible, in order to take photos during your walk.

How will physical distance be managed in the elevator?
Guests will travel in an elevator at the beginning and end of their EdgeWalk experience. Elevator loads will be limited to ensure safe physical distancing. Depending on your group size, your party may be split into two separate elevators. Rest assured, you’ll remain together for all other parts of your EdgeWalk experience.
