It is the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk on a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide ledge encircling the top of the Tower’s main pod, 356m/1168ft (116 storeys) above the ground. I already have a booking; do I need to have proof of vaccination?
 In accordance with the mandate issued by the Province of Ontario, proof of vaccination (two doses plus 14 days) is required for admission to the CN Tower for all patrons 12 years of age and older. The CN Tower is welcoming out of province and out of country travellers who can provide proof of vaccination.

Please be prepared to provide your official vaccination record and a valid government issued ID. 

I don’t have a driver’s licence, what form of ID can I use to enter the Tower?
The following documents are acceptable forms of ID to accompany proof of vaccination:

  • passport
  • driver's license
  • enhanced driver's license
  • Canadian military identification card
  • government-issued identification card
  • government-issued enhanced identification card
  • health card (red and white cards are not acceptable)
  • Canadian citizenship card issued before February 1, 2012
  • Canadian permanent resident card
  • U.S. permanent resident card
  • birth certificate
  • Indian Status Card /Indigenous Membership Card

What type of ID is acceptable for a 13-year-old child?

I have a medical exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. May I still visit the CN Tower?
The CN Tower is operating in compliance with provincial legislation. In accordance with the legislation, guests who are unable to provide proof of vaccination must show proof of exemption, signed by a licensed physician. In accordance with the mandate from the Province of Ontario, medical conditions that qualify for an exemption are limited to those listed here.

Are CN Tower employees required to be vaccinated?

Visitors walk in groups, while attached to an overhead safety rail via a trolley and harness system. Trained EdgeWalk guides will encourage participants to push their personal limits, allowing them to lean back over Toronto with nothing but air and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario beneath them.

Designed with the highest international safety and security standards in mind, EdgeWalk runs for 1.5 hours, with the outdoor walk lasting approximately 30 minutes.

Tickets starting at $195 CAD (per person plus tax) and include a keepsake video, printed photos and certificate of achievement. Participants also receive (following your EdgeWalk) a Tower Experience Ticket which includes access to the LookOut, Glass Floor, and SkyPod levels. Tickets are one time use and valid for up to two days following your EdgeWalk.

The EdgeWalk at the CN Tower will operate seasonally in all weather except for electrical storms, high winds or other extreme weather conditions. Varying weather conditions will make the EdgeWalk experience more unique. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
