Each year, we welcome media, content creators, influencers and film/tv productions from all over the world to Canada’s National Tower.

All visits require prior approval, and requests may be subject to location fees and agreements. When you complete the CN Tower media request form at the link below, we’ll endeavour to respond within 10 business days.

If we approve your request, you’ll have to then sign either a use of images agreement form or a location release form, and send it back to our team here at the Tower.

Please take the following into consideration when making your request:

  • The CN Tower will consider requests that showcase the Tower in a manner that is positive and respectful. Requests for complimentary access to film views or skylines from the observation level will not be considered.
  • We do not wish to interfere with our guest experience and therefore do not permit interviews with our guests. We suggest that any such interviews be obtained away from the CN Tower property.
  • Interviews must be requested in advance. No one other than an official spokesperson can provide comment to the media. 
  • Live streaming on premises is restricted and subject to our live streaming policy (see below) and requires prior approval.

Live streaming policy

To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests, the CN Tower has established the following guidelines regarding live streaming and video broadcasting on its premises.

Permitted Live Streaming
Live streaming is only permitted under all of the following conditions: 

  • Personal Use Only: Guests may live stream using a smartphone for personal, non-commercial purposes. 
  • Designated Public Areas: Streaming is allowed on Main and Lower Observation Levels and on CN Tower Square.
  • Respectful Conduct: Streaming must not obstruct pathways, disrupt other guests, or interfere with CN Tower operations.

Restricted or Prohibited Streaming
Live streaming is not permitted under any of the following conditions: 

  • Restricted areas: Live streaming is prohibited in our Security building and during EdgeWalk or in any area requiring safety equipment or supervision. Streaming is not permitted in 360 Restaurant to preserve the dining experience and for guest privacy. 
  • Professional Equipment: Use of tripods, microphones, lighting rigs, or crew-based filming requires prior written approval.
  • Commercial Content: Monetized or branded streams (e.g., influencer promotions, sponsored content) require prior approval, and requests may be subject to location fees and agreements.

Privacy and Consent

Guests must not film or stream other visitors or staff without their explicit consent.

Enforcement

CN Tower staff reserve the right to request that streaming activities be modified, relocated, or discontinued if they interfere with operations or the guest experience. Non-compliance may result in removal from the premises.
